Our facility features 43 spacious kennels and two large daycare rooms with outdoor play yards, ensuring a safe and fun environment for dogs of all sizes.
We understand that every dog is unique, which is why we offer personalized services tailored to meet their individual needs. From grooming to boarding, our experienced staff is committed to making your pet’s stay enjoyable and stress-free, allowing you to have peace of mind while you’re away.
Upon hearing the sad news that the Founder of The Barking Lot, Hannah, would be closing the doors it didn’t take us long to decide we couldn’t let this unique and valuable business fade away. Our family quickly started working hard to purchase the business from Hannah and get things back up and running as quickly as possible so we could continue to serve the people who depend on The Barking Lot to take care of their furry family members like we did for years. We sincerely hope to continue serving the community for many years to come, and continue Hannah’s dream.

Former Corp Senior Manager, Studied Criminal Justice at Columbia Southern University, long time Barking Lot customer.

Owner & Daycare Manager
Previous Barking Lot employee with a Bachelors in Animal Sciences from SIUC and former intern at Quad County Veterinary. Jessica loves all animals from mild to wild.
Stacey Gabriel
Owner
Degree in Biological Sciences from SIUC. Stacey has a history with private child and pet care with great attention to detail and a drive for excellent service for you and your furry family members.
